This is our first little fundraising project: raising money for this Shade Structure. We really need this item for both collaborative events and the cChaos farmers markets - and we do not have the dollars in our account to pay for it.
You are donating one or more of the 113 "shares" toward cChaos' purchase of this structure. (Total cost is $270.00 plus 10% (10 shares) to endowment fund plus 3%(3 shares) to cover transaction fees) It is part of a package of items that will make up a food demo or healthy snack preparation or healthy food vending at farmers markets - health fairs - and other outdoor events. The complete package will be used by a variety of local nutrition and health promotion groups including Network for a Healthy California, Opt for Fit Kids, The Chico Food Network, and the Cascade Sierra Slow Food Convivium.
(Note: all projects listed are updated regularly - but should we find funding for this or any other of our listed projects which you contribute toward - through some other funding means - your contribution will roll over into the cChaos General Fund.)
