Sensible Cyclery Makes Premiere Appearance

Extreme Health Sensible Cyclery made their first appearance at the Friday Chapman Food & Fitness Festival in Chapmantown. These are reconditioned bikes at very reasonable prices. They are doing bike repair workshops and minor tune ups. Here T. J. and Dave work on a bike.

Walk on down and take a trial spin. Your ride will keep you both in style and fit.

Sensible Cyclery is a project of Caminar "Excellence is Service to People With Disabilities.

The mission of Sensible Cyclery is to recondition and sell quality used bicycles at an affordable price and by being in business provide meaningful vocational opportunities that help our employees reach their full potential.

Donations of bicycles are gratefully accepted!

Fitness Festival Opens in Chapmantown!

cChaos NewscChaos is opening our 2nd Public Health Forum, free produce swap table and farmers' market.

The Chapmantown Food & Fitness Festival! The location is across the street from Chapman School at the east end of Cleveland Street, in Chico.

Every Friday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Year round!



We encourage Social Service organizations to come and set up tables at our events. We have internet and other media services available. For more information call 624-8844. Click on poster to enlarge.

Free Home Canning Workshop - Oroville

Garden SwapBill Baker is holding free Home Canning Workshops every Saturday - 62 Brookdale Street, Oroville, CA. Workshops will start at 10:00 AM. You must register first - at the Homestead Furnishings furniture store - behind the Applebees Restaurant on Feather River Boulevard. You can call the store to reserve a place at the workshop at 532-7968. Bring your own produce - or you can purchase it from a local farmer at the workshop.

    Our mission is to facilitate, improve and maintain healthy lifestyles by increasing access to fresh fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts, and opportunities for physical activities and using the consumer safe food shopping environments created by certified farmers markets to develop grassroots community leadership to maximize human health.

    We work collaboratively with schools & community service organizations to do outreach, research, raise funds, and deliver health services (including WIC and Food Stamp EBT of Certified Farmers Markets) by providing for their public health service integration into the consumer-safe food delivery environments created by farm&garden to table food and information exchange forums such as farmers markets.
